FINALLY! Sami lost her first tooth in April! It was an exciting morning - she woke up with it just laying in her mouth. She held it up and just yelled, "Mom!" Her eyes were big as saucers, I don't know, like she didn't think it would actually ever come out? As you can see by this photo, it really did not have a choice! The new one was already coming in behind it. The tooth fairy left two gold dollars under her pillow that night, which she is saving in a special box.
In other fun events, we spent the day at the Phoenix Zoo last weekend, along with Sami's best pal Brinn, and her mom, Erin. We were there for about 6 hours and saw it all. Here's a shot of the stylish buddies just before we went in:
I made a little album with some additional zoo shots you can view as well. Just click HERE.
Wednesday night was the Kindergarten Music Program at Sami's school. All I can say is OH MY HOW CUTE! They sang and told the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It was about twenty minutes long and priceless! I am so looking forward to more of this kinda stuff as she continues to grow. I filmed the whole thing with my little Flip video recorder, and will edit out a little chunk to share. Check back later to view it right HERE. After the program, we went to our favorite frogurt place, Ocean Blue!, for a treat. I got her a cute little set of Whimsies -- three bears, which was so appropriate to commemorate the occasion.
The other day, after a doctor appointment, (by the way, she is doing GREAT!), we were shopping around in a Kids clothing store and Sami spotted this hat, which she just had to have. It was on clearance, so we own it now. She wears it a lot and seems to think she is all-that-and-a-bag-o-chips when she does! She even wore it out to dinner Friday night. This morning, I was drinking my coffee, and looked over to see Miss Sami fixing herself some toast with it on... It was so cute, and the camera was right there.....
Yee-haw! Such a cutie. Anyhow. We are doing great and she is only 21 days away from finishing Kindergarten already! That just amazes me.
Hope you are all having a great Spring so far. XOXO
