Look out summer, here comes Miss Sami and she is ready for some fun! Today was Sami's last day of kindergarten, so I figured I should post and recognize the milestone.
She has changed so much this last year... so much more independent. This time last year, we were just finishing her treatment protocol-- Actually, it was one year ago this week that she received her LAST chemo! So much to be thankful for, and proud of, with this child.
Here's some pictures of my girl and her most WONDERFUL teacher, Heidi Dyer, taken this morning:
In other news, this last few weeks brought another big change -- Sami's nanny for the last two years, our sweet Jenna, graduated from ASU and is leaving! She has been accepted to a Physician Assistant Masters program in Miami, and we wish her all the best! Jenna has been so great and Sami learned so very much from her. Jenna's family had a graduation party for her, which Sami and I attended. It was a pool party, so you know where my kid was for most of the time! We managed to dry her off, at least partially, long enough to get this picture of them together -
I have hired a new gal, who will be starting next week, but we will certainly miss Jenna! I am so grateful to her for all she has done for Sami - Good Luck Jenna!
That's all I have for now, just wanted to let you all know we are still here, just been crazy busy as usual! Hope your summer gets off to a great start with this Memorial Day weekend. I will leave you with this picture of a VERY proud mommy and her kindergarten graduate!
Life is GOOD!
Congrats Sami!
I am loving the one pointed toe pose.
